Model converts to Vector Art

If we are trying to create an image with a different model (ie. Ideogram) and use "vector style" as a descriptor in the prompt the image will come out generated through the Vector Art model even though I do not chose that style.

Recraft is switching the model on me to give me terrible results and waste credits!

I'm running a prompt that is asking for a seamless pattern. It works great in the Seamless Digital model. I NEVER use the Seamless Vector model because I really dislike the results - they are waste of credits. I'm trying to run this prompt with Imagen 4 and HiDream Dev - and until today that was not a problem. Sometimes some of these external models will give me really nice results that are seamless, or at least horizontally seamless (which works great for tumbler wraps). Today, all of a sudden WITHOUT ASKING you are automatically switching the model on me to the awful Seamless Vector model when I try to use these external models! If I wanted to use Seamless Vector I would choose it. You are wasting my credits to give me something that I cannot use, without even asking (although that would be annoying if you ask and I can't choose to use the model that I want).
Don't assume you know better than me what I want and what I want to experiment with, because you don't! I avoid the Seamless Vector model! I have gotten great results often with these external models by saying I want a seamless pattern. Even the images that are not at all seamless I still usually get a good result that I can use in another way. And like I said above, I often do get a truly seamless or horizontally seamless result that I really like and can use. With the Seamless Vector model I don't think I have ever gotten a result from it that I could actually use, so you are just wasting my credits and giving me images I cannot use... without even asking if I want to switch the model.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback on this feature! After receiving all the feedback, we decided to roll back this change (in progress).

Olga yay! Thank you!

Please leave the model as the one we chose. Some of us have certain prompt structures that we need a certain model for,

The same thing just happened to me when I was trying to use Imagen 4 and HiDream with a prompt that had 'seamless' in it. I have used some external models in the past and actually gotten seamless images. Not always, but in some cases half the time, and even the images that are not I can usually use for something else. I just tried both those models with 'seamless' in my prompt and it switched the model without asking me to the terrible Seamless Vector model. What a waste of credits. Every time I have experimented with Seamless Vector I have never gotten good results that I could use.

Hi Jesse,
We automatically switch to a different model in some cases to ensure the best possible quality for your edits. This helps deliver high-quality results that match your prompt more accurately.

Olga you're doing the same thing when 'seamless' is in the prompt. It just happened to me. It's a really bad assumption that you know better than we do what we want, you don't. To switch the model after we hit submit without even asking us is so disrespectful. You switched the external models I had chosen because in the past I got good results from them that were seamless about half the time. Even the images that weren't seamless I could find a use for because they were good images. I have NEVER gotten a useful image from the Seamless Vector model. Some people may like that look, but I don't and I can't use those images. So I just wasted credits on 4 images that I cannot use all because without warning or asking you switched the model on me after I hit the submit button. I'm actually furious about this, not just that you wasted my credits, but that you have taken the choice away from me to use the model I want with the prompt I want. You've taken away my ability to experiment. You've taken away my ability to use my own judgement which is based on my experience to get good results with the models I want to use.
I have other platforms where I can use the same external models. This is one less reason for me to come to Recraft. One point against Recraft on my assessment of which platforms I will renew my subscriptions to.

Olga Hi Olga, Can you please let us keep the model we chose for our prompt and not switch it because of certain keywords we use in the prompt. Or at least have a check box where we can click if we want to switch the model for best results. I use the Ideogram model for a certain vector (I vectorize it later) style of prompt because it does not give quality results with any other model. I am on the Pro plan with Recraft and would hate to have to switch to a cheaper plan so I could sign up with Ideogram themselves.
