Mockup Graphics Placed Behind Hoodie Strings, Hair etc.

When using the mockup generator for something like a hoodie -- which has strings usually hanging down the front, or a model's hair on the front, graphics should be placed "behind" those items for a usable/realistic look. Currently, graphics are placed on top of the entire image, making it not usable as a mockup.

Adjustable Depth Effect for Text Clarity

I often find that the depth effect in the 'Convert to Mockup' tool is too strong, causing text elements to appear distorted and hard to read. It would be beneficial to have an option to adjust the depth effect, allowing text-based designs to appear clearer and more natural.

Hi,
We're looking into your request! In the meantime, could you please let us know which other sites you have in mind?

Olga Sites such as Kittl's mockups, Placeits mockups and Canva's mockups all handle this without issue (as do many many others). See attached samples from the three mentioned here. Note: I just did these quickly with screenshots, so they are low resolution -- but you can clearly see how they work properly. I did not bother to do high-res downloads for this example, just FYI.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback!
At the moment, you can use the mask tool to solve this issue. Highlight your completed mockup, then click on the mask icon in the top panel, and select the areas where the image should not overlap.

Olga Unfortunately that does not work with graphic textual designs. Pretty much every other site that does mockups places graphics "behind" hoodie strings, hair etc. So hopefully at some point Recraft can figure it out. e.g. Even if we mask over the strings, the integrity of the graphic has been destroyed because it's warping on top of the strings. So no, not usable that way.

That's right, the mockups can't be used except posters or mugs.
