Custom pixel dimensions for image generation

I often need to generate visual elements for websites, such as headers and banners, which require specific pixel dimensions that don't fit standard aspect ratios. Previously, I could set custom pixel dimensions directly in Recraft, which streamlined my workflow. Now, I have to use workarounds that are time-consuming and reduce quality. It would be beneficial to have a 'Custom' option in the aspect ratio dropdown, allowing me to input exact width and height values, making Recraft a more versatile tool for web and UI design.

Hi there,
Just to clarify how this currently works: Recraft does not support true custom aspect ratios. In the previous UI, it may have appeared that custom dimensions were possible because each generation created a layer where users could manually adjust pixel values. However, generation itself is always based on predefined aspect ratios, and the system automatically selects the closest available option when a custom size is implied.
We understand the use case you’re describing, especially for web headers, banners, and UI assets that require exact pixel dimensions. We’ve shared this feedback with the team, as a “Custom size” option is a frequently requested improvement and could significantly enhance flexibility for design workflows.
At the moment, a workaround is to generate using the closest aspect ratio and then adjust dimensions during export or post-editing, but we understand this is not ideal for all workflows.
We really appreciate you taking the time to explain your use case in detail — it helps us better evaluate future improvements.

Agreed! I'm just running into this problem. it's super annoying because it's picking dimensions instead of working with what I'm trying to give it. I then googled instructions on how to fix an image that I wanted, but they didn't track. The fact that OP mentioned this was changed explains why the instructions don't work.
