Is there a way to know from the URL if the image is a raster or vector from the api? we would be helpt to know its indended file extension. Now we need to analize the stream if it starts with "<svg", thats not helpfull.

I would suggest to add a .svg or .png or what ever extension in the future, kind of best practice. =)
